Raggies for Shaggies is a nonprofit organization that recycles and repurposes old towels and rags as beds for dogs in shelters.

We are Jetta, Alana and Bryce. We are high school kids and summer members of our community swimming pools. As swimmers and animal lovers, we noticed that every summer our local swimming pools' lost and found is full of unclaimed towels. We also noticed that several times per summer each pool clears out and discards these much needed towels. Our goal is to take and repurpose them so we can help as many animals possible.

Provided a time window we will come to your pool location and take the unwanted towels, wash them and deliver them for the animals in the shelter. If your pool is located in the the Montgomery County, Maryland or within driving distance from Rockville, Maryland, we will be glad to arrange for a pick up.
